Oh yeah, congrats on the coverage by Mr. Icarus!
If you're interested in expanding the fog option, here's a mod for it I previously used. Have a look if you'd like. (It's not mine, obviously).

It lets you choose presets for the coloured fog or even make your own colour settings via RGB. I used those to make my fog a little more "dirty", as opposed to pure white fog, which seems too "clean" for horror atmosphere.
Oh, and ditto for Captain J's idea for a power melee attack.

Modify... As long as you asked for a permission(and approved by the author), then it'll fine. But i'd make it addon Instead of Standalone if i were you, especially if you're going to upload it! It's nice lighter and safer than having the latter.

If anyone's interested or wants to have some laughs, here's me sucking at playing Nighshift with Midwich School 5to2. But be warned: it's a long ass watch. Commentary in Polish.

Spoiler:I haven't encountered any bugs so far. And I have to say: Nightshift really sells the idea of a survival horror in Doom. And after mixing in the L4D monsters? Hooooo boy. The tension got to me on more than one occasion

Thanks a lot Adam! I will download it as soon as i get on a PC. In the meantime, could you provide us a changelog? Thanks in advance for caring about the mod!
@YebuDoom: One thing i noticed during the videos is that you wanted to kill the zombies from long distances and had troubles with the grenades. Don't forget you can hold the grenade button to throw it even further, and if by any chance you want to cancel the grenade throw, change weapons and release the grenade key (or else it'll start again).

+Added a testmap for gameplay mods, MAP01.
+Added PBR materials to textures.
+Added Glowsticks and wall lamps along with lighting effects for them.
+Added Object lighting to glow effects.
+Added new objects and lighting effects to DECORATE file.
+Added bloom effect and lighting effects in GLDEFS file.
+Created a new skybox for test map.

BTW guys, thanks to ICARUS, the mod got a little more interest, so some people suggested a few things on his comments, some users contacted me about game breaking bugs, our friends Jarewill and YukesVonFaust contributed with awesome pieces of code, and i do believe i might upload Nightshift v1.7 by this week if possible, so keep tuned. =)
