Yep. That is what my wife said when saw it.
My brother said shw ain't feminine enought, then my wife replied the model may requiere an haircut style showing, since the armor chestplate hide her boobies form.

Modified the femele player a little bit, added an hairstyle mesh and now i am working on her bones structure.

Sorry for no update since august,i have been busy lately with real life job and life.
I have reworked on the male player model that i will use for both player and other marines. Same for the femele counterpart. And finished both of them.
The only sad thing, since GZDoom doesn't allow transparency in a selected model part, the helm's visor is only transparent in 3DSmax, in game there is no transparency and the face if fully hidden.

I have reworked alot on the male model, since people here said it was either too skinny or too fatty :) It now looks alot more in the average. Added a mouth bone to move the jaw (for talking) when the model doesn't have a helmet

For the femele model, i finished correcting few curve, added an hairstyle that move and follow her head's movement. Added a mouth bone to move the jaw (for talking) when the model doesn't have a helmet.

I think the proportions for the female model are wrong.
I think you should make a smaller head and larger body. You could use some female soldier photos, imho

I have never modeled a female before, i checked anim picture to make the curves. I may modify her for sure.

The head seem correct, it is the helmet that make it look bigger, this is due to her head and her hair. I have few animation where the character will remove it's helmet.

Noted for later: check femele proportions and smaller head/larger body.

Finished modeling 2 weapons.
I am remaking in 3D model all 2D sprite weapons that Hellstorm Archon made for me.
This is kinda not that easy, but doable.
At the moment they don't have yet a texture skin.

This is looking awesome. I was keeping tabs on this project, but when I noticed a delay, I stopped checking, just to see some rather large updates. This will definitely be something for me to play the shit out of when it's done. Keep up the good work!

Yeah sorry for the delay. Life, job, wife and familly is still keeping me from going 100% on it. I still have few hours on everynight and when i am on day off.

Take as long as you need! The more you pace yourself, the better the project is and the better you feel when it's done! Don't push yourself, and occasionally take breaks to do other stuff if you so choose.

Busy with real life as usual...
I have been working lately on the Hud models, trying to figure out where the hud was positioned in 3DS Max and what was it's scale also. This was pure try and test until i find it and scale it.
On these screenshots there will be a huge red box all around the screen's border, this help me figure out the part where the game camera show on screen. And the red/black diamond in the center, only point out where is the player's aim.
Also, there is a long red line coming out of the weapon, this helped me to place the arms and the weapon properly for the player's aim.

Aright i have finished the Hud weapon of the AR44's model and frames animation.
I had to rescale everything in 3DS Max due to a bug in GZDoom's model scale. The bug was flipping normal's face and skin texture was pixelized horribly.

Been a while i have post an update. I have been extremly busy with real life and work, it ain't easy to manage things outside the virtual game world when you have a wife, a job and all the things that follow.
I have worked slowly on the project without post anything until i was sure a task was done.

I have reworked the 3D model of the chaingun of GZDoom's model and only kept the handle and the clip. I made fully the rest of the gun to look a little more of the Doom 64's chaingun.
The skin aint finished yet... only to show for myself on the testing.
