My first entry. Class 4/5 weapon.

my weapon concept right now; multi rifle. has a simular system to what you did. the more you hold the fire button, the more powerful it becomes. :)

Thanks, all of you, but could someone please PM me about putting hud sprites properly into XWE. I'm used to doing it the DEUSF way, which is not compatable with DECORATE (and DEUSF doesn't work on my system).

that sounds like fun :D 1 sec takes down a demon 2 a revenant 3 a knight 4 a barron 5 a mastermind 6 a cyberdemon:D

Alright, our first weapon!

We need a level to put these things in though. :\

I'll have a review up later of it, and judge it if it is good enough to be in (I IZ A JUDGE)

Review of multi-projectile weapon: 8/10 stars ********

It's a good weapon, a great weapon. The varying charge levels make it unique, and it's sure as hell powerful. The only thing I didn't like was that the weapon seemed a little bit like a rock, since it was still, but I guess thats usual with a weapon of this size. :P

Put it in the Power Level 4: Rocket Launchers or other powerful weapons area. Although it's powerful, it's not "OMFG :O" power.

Image You have no new messages hmph a lot of help I get, hey chronoteeth you know how to put sprites into XWE right?

@TheDarkArchon: The Hobbs Rating scale gives you 4/5 stripes for your weapon, enough to be in this wad (3/5 is the min.) good work!

@chronoteeth: I've already built a wad called weapons.wad in XWE. As soon as we have about 5 submissions or so I'll relase the first build.

Also in he future could you put the Z lumps in text files (SNDINFO, DECORATE, KEYCONF) in the zip. thank you.

Yes, I do know how to put sprites into XWE, and it looks like we already have our first submission! 4 more to go! :P

Now anyways, I would love to submit one of my works, but I code for EDGE. If anyone wants to translate it into Decorate (preferably TDA), I'll have 3 weapons for it. :P

@chrono:I'll make you a deal, since I find writing for DECORATE laughably easy, I'll tranlate your weapons if you will teach me how to put hud sprites into XWE (and then give you the credit for your weapons, fully, because, well read ^).

Actually, as awlays, just put him in the credits, but if you don't do that, he'll get pissed. So go ahead and use em, as long as he is in the credits. :wink:

Oh wow, I didn't even notice that. Maybe I'll try creating something for this after all.

You should. As this is to be a community use wad, the community (or the part that can do DECORATE weapons) should be the ones to make it, not just me (especially since my creativity factor is like 2 out of 5).

There you go. Credits go to WW, xaser, and the D2.5 team. They have casing, reloading, and smoke, so thats why I wanted TDA to decorify em.

I've sponsored it, now to seal the deal with a contribution of my own: the Charged Plasma Bolter, which I would place in Power Level 3 personally. It works kind of reversed of the multi-projectile gun, in that the first shot is very powerful, but holding the trigger will make the gun fire weaker bolts after the initial blast. Inspiration from Perfect Dark, and the graphics were by Nmn (I hope he doesn't mind...) And I didn't make a pickup graphic for this one, nor did I place an editor spawn number on the gun (I'll leave that to the one in charge of compiling the WAD file).

This is a very good idea and the weapons produced so far are pretty cool :)
