I really don't understand Lo Wang having a grenade launcher as a replacement for the single shotgun. I think it'd be better if the shuriken were moved to that slot, since the horizontal spread makes them fairly shotgun-like, and then his "pistol" could be the darts that replace shurikens when parental controls are on, but he'd only throw one at a time.

Not sure if I can help with this mod, but I just converted Blade to voxels using official model files.
I have an MD3 file with all the animations, but I haven't understood the complexity of using MD3 in gzDoom yet.

I don't think you read the OP correctly. They literally say that it can run on the latest version of GZDoom.
"these builds don't run with gzdoom, gzdoom doesn't allow repeat definitions of user variables" is what I remember about it - so fat chance that it would.

Our builds run on older GZDoom because the run on Zandronum, of course, hell, I even play my dev build on my phone.
so maybe in the future they will rework some of the code. i truly hope so.
