this was only meant to be a rough overview, explaining the bare basics of the DECORATE weapon system. It's really only useful for people who have no idea what to do, or just can't understand it. That's why it is in a simple format.

Also I don't understand A_JumpIfNoAmmo(x). What exactly does the number afterwards represnet? Frames to jump? can I define where it jumps TO? Does it have to go to deselect? Can the command be placed anywhere in the weapon's code? Can the weapon do a different deselect if it runs out of ammo as opposed to just deselecting the weapon?

I cant really explain it too good, probably your best bet is to go ask graf or someone on the christmas present for zdoom thread. any other qestions?

Argh, I can't get the doomweaponstest.wad to run, ZDoom.96 always crashes and says:

Script error, "DECORATE" line 3:
"inventory.pickupmessage" is an unknown actor property
