GameCube or original Xbox?

If it's not ZDoom, it goes here.

And even on top of that, (most of?) the dev team from BLACK went on to do Bodycount for Codemasters, and that wound up not being very good either.

Also, your example still apply with the Gamecube. What if that Gamecube was used for years and years and then breaks two weeks later because of a failing laser in the optical drive? The console may be durable in a way, but that doesn't make it immortal.
Well, you just met a fortune teller. Hi there. I'm not really a dumb person and I know where to get stuff and where not to. And what I've been telling everyone here so far is that 90% of original Xboxes selling on Brazilian sites are either :
1.Extremely poorly maintained (with visible dirt, liquid spilling and crap all over it).
2.Lacking cables and controllers altogether. Console may sometimes be new, sometimes it's a trap.
3.Broken because of too much screwing around.

And the other 10% is :
1.An unknown source. I really, REALLY don't want to fall into the wrong hands here. Thank god the site has a reputation system, so if you sell broken stuff, don't fulfill purchases or any other kind of problem, you get downvoted. And fast.
2.Only sells in a specific state. I don't want to cross to China. Pay me first, arsehole.
3.A good quality console, in good shape and with a trusted seller, but immediately gets sold to someone.

I believe I already made up my mind about this... discussion. Which shouldn't even be one in the first place. To be honest, this thread should be locked, since it's slowly turning into a "oh this game is my favorite, you should get that console just for that" and "why get these consoles now". I didn't ask anyone about that in the original post, nor are these comments helping me. I'm sorry if this accidentally disappoints anyone. Besides, a lot of the original Xbox games, such as Forza, were improved over time, adding 60FPS and other stuff as well. The only original Xbox exclusive games that really interested me, was Breakdown, MechAssault 1 and 2, Conker and maybe Amped 2, none of which work properly on the 360. The rest is available on PC in some form, including Halo 2 for example, or was improved over time, such as Project Gotham Racing. Meanwhile on the GameCube, there's a ton of exclusives, and most importantly, things that interest me. I never played Metroid Prime before, although I did complete most of the other 2D Metroid games. I can't count how many times I finished Zero Mission, I can even mentally project every single sprite of it, even though I didn't play it since 4 years. Eternal Darkness, P.N.03, Rebel Strike, The Twin Snakes, Four Swords and Geist also seem badass as well.

Okay, maybe most of us probably misunderstood why you were asking the question, but starting a thread and then getting upset that a discussion happened in it seems like the wrong thing to do.

Either way, thread closed by request. In the future, may I ask that you be a bit more polite about it?
