This topic makes me laugh and makes me mad at the same time. How can you expect a reliable answer to such a qustion?! There's more Doom mods/maps/etc. than for any other game ever made, and to actually be able to find the good ones and recommend them first of all I'd have to be insane and second I'd have to have a hell of a lot of time on my hand and third I'd have to ask Randy to extend the word-count-limit for users' posts and fourth..., oh nevermind.

What maps / wads do you recommend?
If you go to the Wiki and find the "WADs created for ZDoom" page, you'll see a big list of ZDoom-only wads there.

I don't think he meant just ZDooM wads. That's not what he sad anyway. But even if he'd said that then it's still an insane question because there's a lot of ZDooM wads as well. Heck just go to the DoomWorld idgames database and search for anything with "ZDooM" in the description, and you'll find a shoot-load.
