Re: F5Pack : Legacy of Strife
xutawoo the gzdoom version is a little bit different from the zandronum/skulltag because the weapons are done the same way in both versions there is absolutely no keyconf for the weapons in the mod the weapons are all in one big ass decorate file ordered and selected by the "weapon.slotnumber" code at least this is how its done in the GZDoom version

Seconding for that reason, and also because it feels kind of weird to have a real gun in a world where the manufacturer doesn't existchronoteeth wrote:If theres one thing that should be switched, is that spas shotgun. Its really bad, graphics wise.

Also, what's that graphic in the bottom left of the hud for?

Please do some simple research before you say things like this.Mikk- wrote:If you're referencing Skulltag actors in your main code, then you will not be able to use this with [...]Zandronum.

Re: F5Pack : Legacy of Strife
that was me pressing the taunt in the old versions of f5 that wasnt scripted at all XD
also since there is no taunting system in gzdoom (that im aware of) there no point to include the taunts that are part of the zandronum/ST edition but to be on subject there is a laughter taunt but its not that annoying ass one all the taunts pain death and usefail sounds are all my voice edited extensivly

Re: F5Pack : Legacy of Strife
lol, no worries dude, I was just making a bad joke.
I've never played F5Pack and was admittedly kind of wondering what was up with that

Re: F5Pack : Legacy of Strife
i dont plan to keep you lot waiting much longer just a few last minute things to take care of >:)
Re: F5Pack : Legacy of Strife
The video doesn't show off shop interactions, so I'm wondering:
Do you have new USDF scripts for this? Since you replace weapons, having updated names for ammo in shops would make things easier for the player to figure out which weapon will get the ammo they're buying. Also, because you have more weapons than vanilla Strife, some cost rebalancing/expanded shop selection might come in handy.
If you don't have the scripts & are interested in adding them, I could help with that if you like.
Also, does the mod replace the Sigil?

Re: F5Pack : Legacy of Strife
Then why postpone further? You could release it somewhere on gamefront and call it a day.... or is this one of those "99% complete" projects stuck in development hell I always see?TiberiumSoul wrote:the good news is the mod is finished and fully playable

Re: F5Pack : Legacy of Strife
That's the nature of development itself! You've got to keep at it, because once you get those bugs sorted, you could very well have something you're proud to release.TiberiumSoul wrote:its in development hell because every time i get one bug sorted out there's another one there to take its place
