Reinchard's wip textures demo available

Projects that have specifically been abandoned or considered "dead" get moved here, so people will quit bumping them. If your project has wound up here and it should not be, contact a moderator to have it moved back to the land of the living.

Unlike most hi-res graphics stuff I've seen, this is actually pretty cool. :o

I think that could use a teeny bit more vertical spacing between those main large pads. Looks awesome otherwise!

So if you shoot these textures, the bulletchip decals will kill the 3Dish atmosphere?

I'm intrigued why these are being made at 800x800. A power of 2 would be more universal (512x512 0r 1024x1024) would it not?

New version, this time is more plastic then concrete.
This is 1024x1024 version, I hope imageshack will not change the size.

I think it has. I'm still getting an 800x800 image.

I like the more plastic look.

The bright red and blue features behind the broken panel don't work very well IMO for a few reasons. Firstly, their brightness draws attention towards them in a way that the broken panel on the original doesn't. The brightness also removes the impression that they are set into the wall properly (ie they seem to be too far forward). Also, they look to be too functional. ie the panel has been damaged (presumably shot) but the lights behind seem to be working normally. I know that could happen but it doesn't look right IMO.

Imgur does not mess with picture sizes. Try that.

Great work by the way. If you stick with it, we have a very promising hi-res texture pack on the way.

Imgur .JPEGs your image if it's bigger than a specific size, so you know what;
Upload it to Minus. Registering doesn't even require activation, what the heck.
