raw rotated, blurry edges:

Doom palette:
Now I'm wishing Zdoom TEXTURES could rotate at any angle (with some edge threshold options).
That actually looks quite cool if a bit... weird. I can see the fire frames being a problem though....

Heh, that is cool. Is it me, or does the angled CHGGB0 frame look exactly like the regular CHGGA0 would if moved to the side?

Lucky angle choice I guess...
Here's the smoother frames made by perkristian angled, though I didn't use the improved sprites someone made with smoothed lower parts.
All these are angled at 29 degrees, which seems beleivable for hip firing, and maybe if Doomguy is thought to hold the chaingun handle at an angle, the original muzzleflash positions could be beleivable.

There is dual-minigun sprites in Equinox, though maybe not the best looking ones.

That chaingun looks awesome, been waiting for someone to make something like this for a long time. I see the problem with the muzzleflash, it would make the weapon look kind of odd.

See, I reckon that Minigun has a reputation that is worse than the weapon itself. Yes, it is a bit primitive and yes it has been over used but there are far worse weapons out there and many have been used more than it (indeed, I can't remember the last time I saw it used) but, for what ever reason, it has become the poster boy for "don't do that" weapons.

There are nice angled miniguns (dual wield) in the Equinoxx wad, maybe you should check that out.

I feel I might be partly to blame for that; granted, Daniel used the chaingun in question in about 60% of his mods, along with Shadow Warrior's riot gun, but it may have been my Doom Armory reviews that painted it in such a horrible light. I do still maintain that they've been used far too often, and they certainly don't look that great (perhaps a new muzzle flash and a smoother animation would help) but I can see your point.
Eh. Shadow Warrior's graphics are far more of a "don't do that" resource. =P

I wonder how many Doomers can't stand playing Shadow Warrior any more because it uses SW weapon graphics...
Kidding aside, there are still a few (sticky bombs and the railgun) that recieve almost no use, oddly.

Xaser: You can bet your insanity I still play Shadow Warrior from time to time. And I am using the railgun as well.

I'm pretty sure the Duke Nukem 3D shotgun is the most taboo weapon graphic to use ever still.

Yes I
DO.
No. No, you don't. You don't need anything but food, water, and shelter (and maybe love, depending on what scientist you ask). I'm sure many more people would be inclined to help if you had asked nicely, rather than demand results. I, for one, feel disinclined to acquiesce your request*.
@Enjay: I've done some investigating, and you very well may be right about his true identity...
@Phi: That actually looks
really good. Simple as hell, but very clean-looking. I like.
* means "No."
Sorry, but I can't help but see a MAJOR amount of contradiction and hypocrisy emitting from this comment like stink emits off of a piece of crap. You do realize that this sub-forums purpose is for people that NEED graphics for whatever their working on? For people to post graphics for people that NEED them? Honestly, I've noticed when people ask for help and/or need something for their work, most users respond with "No, you don't." and then ignore them. Way to be helpful.
The only reason he's demanding is becuase you guys are acting like a bunch of Jackasses and making Starwars references instead the actually HELPING the man. You think he's being rude? You're the one whose cracking jokes on his help thread, then posting smartass and rude remarks when he reminds you of what he needs and asks you to stop. The only person you should be blaming is yourself.
As for on-topic, I know the repository at realm 667 has quite a few angled weapons. Some better then others. Though if you have Aeons of Death, you could simply go into the graphics files and dig out some of the many angled minigun weapons in there as there are quite a few.

You did notice that the Star Wars references and "no you don't" were pretty much tongue in cheek right?
You did notice that he was helped, even by some of the people making those jokes, right?
You did notice that he was given a few links and references that he could check right?
You did notice that someone even went to the effort of making some graphics right?
