I've filled in most of the blanks. I neglected most of "Wads in Progress" and "Wads for ZDoom", as well as the entrys for ATBDOOM and NTDOOM.
You want to know? I wrote a page on that that's accessible from the front page of the wiki.SirTimberWolf wrote:this is fantastic... however I have one question...
wtf is a wiki..
At least it would be nice if all 'normal' linedef types (for Doom style maps) that ZDoom supports were documented. One use for this could be to create Boom compatible maps with a few ZDoom enhancements (like some purely decorative slopes - look at FreeDoom MAP07 for an example.)Fredrik wrote:Question: would it be OK if this also covered topics that weren't specific to ZDoom? I'm not talking about making this a Legacy editing reference, but to cover the Doom and Boom basics that ZDoom is compatible with. Including technical details such as how the binary lumps are structured etc, I could do a couple of such writeups.
my oppinion is that the starter appends his\her name, then editors append thier names... kind of in a "contributors" kind of thingFredrik wrote:Hey folks you shouldn't put your names in the pages you've written. It kind of defeats the purpose of a wiki
Contributors are listed in the history page. Or if you desperately need to announce it, put it in the article's discussion page.Bio Hazard wrote:my oppinion is that the starter appends his\her name, then editors append thier names... kind of in a "contributors" kind of thing
That would kill the whole purpose of the wiki. Requiring log-in would be cool, though.giest118 wrote:Or even better, you could make it so that people can only edit pages that they created.
