I know it took me more than one year later (LOL) but I finally got around to using this heavily in production and I can say it works beautifully - better than the old DoomCrap font generator, because this one does not force anti aliasing. So I'm able to produce CRISP pixel fonts.

What happened to this? Did the project die or is it abandoned because I really wanted to use this.
The program just won't start at all, it's just displaying the startup screen with the last java log being:
at java.awt.EventDispatchThread.run(Unknown Source)

If there are any alternatives now I would really appreciate it until it gets fixed or something, thanks!
(NOTE:The Unicode Font Creator doesn't work either)

I could not get this thing to run, even with the command prompt! Clicking on the icon opened the .jar file like a folder and trying to run it with java from the command prompt gave me an error message. I use Windows 10, BTW.

Yeah, any time I installed any Oracle Java interpreter or any open source one, they always would never work with this project for any version. For some reason it only works if you use the one included with Windows.

Ultimately what you have to do is right-click on the .jar file and click "Open With" and choose the Microsoft one. It can be a bit hard to tell which is which.
