Tweaked the crusader model a bit. Slimmed the body slightly to make the proportions closer to that of the sprite, changed the tops of the legs, extended the legs slightly and then made the whole thing a bit more squat. I don't think this will ever look particularly menacing but I think this is an improvement.

There are a few things that I need obviously need to sort out. It looks quite dull (I didn't have much luck making it look shiny with Blender, but I'll try again) and bits stick out as wrong for various reasons (like that air intake thingy at the front).
If I manage to get the animation done, then I will do one with the other legs too. If doing the animation is just too much of a pain, then I'll be less motivated to do yet more. I also plan on doing a couple of weapon configuration variants but we'll see.

As a matter of interest, what card would that be?

"Todherr" is a hilariously broken attempt at saying "deathman", isn't it?

Even though "tod" means "death", "herr" can also refer to "knight" or "sir", not just "man" (that would be "Mann"), so "Todherr" is the literal German translation for "Death Knight".

Yeah, but... It's still hilariously broken. Like Engrish, except it's mangled German instead of mangled English, so, let's call it Germangle.
Try Todesritter.

Deutschlecht?
Thank you for the suggestion--I am a stereotypical American and know very little about other languages.
FreeTranslation gives "Todritter", though. Might I ask what the "es" in Todesritter is?

Declensions.
They are an evil thing.
It's a bit hard to explain in English since the language doesn't have this notion, but Todesritter means "Death Knight" as in "Knight of Death", or "Knight that belongs to Death". Whereas Todritter means "Death Knight" just as two words that follow each others, but are not grammatically connected. It's Death. And it's Knight. There's no relation. No glue. English doesn't need that glue so it's not easy to show that it's missing.
Fun thing to do: make a Google search for "Todritter", you'll only get English results. For "Todesritter", and you'll only see German results. (Though in both cases, it's mostly World of Warcraft junk anyway.)

Interesting! Learn something new every day, this makes things a whole lot more interesting. Thank you.
Would it be okay if I PM'd you the unit/enemy list to you to double-check the names over? If I missed something with the big Hero(?) unit, it's more than likely I missed some other stuff.

If that is genitive as you're linking there, then that trailing s in German has got to be cognate to the mysterious English 's contraction, right?

If you need someone to do German proofreading, you should rather ask one of the many German guys we have around. Torm is pretty friendly. Myself, I've mostly forgotten what I've learned of that language.
