^ Pretty cool... hand-drawn or rendered from a 3D model?

@ Nash, the sprite actually is drawn with a tablet. I drew a 'skeleton' over the slave sprite from Shadowcaster.
I plan on making a Resident Evil mod if I can ever get a team together. I have the intention of contacting members of the community if they are interested.

Why in the name of fuck are you drawing on a cyan backdrop? I know I'm sounding harsh but it's that bad of an idea.
Having a solid shape of the sprite and drawing only on that is loads better than this -
And it also allows you to use bigger brushes without massive cleanups, which you avoid entirely in exchange for having to expand the sprite pixel-by-pixel every now and then.

I work with layers in gimp, Blox. I only bust out the cyan backdrop for posting purposes

. I keep my outlines, my colors, and the backdrop on separate layers. But I am happy to hear from you, I admire your work. Any constructive criticsm on the piece itself?

The details seem pretty fuzzy and undefined (see: the band around the arm, it seems pretty pixelated for whatever reason.) - but the biggest offender is that it lacks some clear light:

sudden beautiful 10 minute mashups are so good inorite
It's a pretty shit mashup, but as you might see the shadows (and shitty highlights) on the legs play a big part in defining their shape, and it's pretty important for a 2D sprite to fake depth.
Generally, don't be afraid of zooming right the fuck in and going nuts with a tiny brush to get the shape of the little things just right.

(jesus my quick mashups are terrible)
I'm a shitty artist though so don't take me too seriously.
