Double resolution weapon sprites don't sound too unrealistic, truth to be told. (This thing isn't so much "HD" as "Supershinepolish with a great muzzleflash edition")

I mean this thing is actually downscaled, and it's not like I couldn't redraw the flashes. (Stumbling into a good day is the bigger problem, ugh.)

Frames 5, 6 and 7 could use a little more tweening between each other. The red puff is animating too abruptly...

It's made to be vanilla compatible (with the last frame merely being a bonus), so that doesn't come as a surprise. :/

Why doesn't it come as a surprise? With the same number of frames Doom's vanilla rocket launcher animates smoother. It's still not smooth, but it is smoother by comparison.

In what palette are this railgun in? cuz when use doom palette it becomes grey and light blue shitty pixels... anyone know?

no pallette. I never bother to do weapons in the doom pallete as hud-weapon sprites do not require it in-game. zdoom allows windows colours on such sprites... why not have a few more colours I say?

i am glad to see that people like osjc's raigun muzzle flash and the scope added too! but would you like it if the marine tank were finished? i finished with it and now i need to put it in a sprite sheet...
