Reshade is a separate program, essentially, not something that GZDoom can do anything with on its own.

I actually saw someone had a thing in the works that would give ReShade light blooms in a .pk3 in his version of Brutal Doom (damn, these sprout up everywhere). It's supposed to be coming out in the next version.

ReShade needs OpenGL 4.3 IIRC.

now i can run gzdoom 2.x vanilla and with mods, and my card can push 3.2 opengl, but apparently since the post processor is 4.3 it wont even run the application? is there a wrapper verison somewhere?

No. ReShade needs the features from 4.3. It won't work without them.
The nearest thing you could get is an OpenGL -> DirectX wrapper but I'm not even sure if such a thing exists.

also a stupid question but i have been messing with drivers and i am wondering, is there any way to update your opengl version? i am downloading the 341.92 driver for my card and it says it supports opengl4.3 but is that going to change the version my card is capable of?

The drivers might support OpenGL 4.3, but that won't make the graphic card magically supporting it unless told otherwise (which is rarely the case).

What's your graphic card, anyway?

Anyone got a working Reshade version for the latest DRD build? Been using the one at http://reshade.me/, and it does indeed load, (I can see the text in the upper left) but I don't see any actual effects. Sometimes I get it to change, but the colors get distorted.

This used to work on a build of GZDoom DRD from months ago, with an earlier build (there were curtains when GZDoom starts up,) but of course that one doesn't work with the one now, and I can't get the newest one to work either.

EDIT: Well, I found one, from the guy who posted the CRT preset a while back.

Anyone's got a working link to download the latest reshade that's not on mediafire? the download from the site just drops to 0kb/s for no reason at all.

Just tried this, and I keep getting the same error message as cortlong50. How do I uninstall now so GZDoom isn't now perma-broke?

Remove opengl32.dll in the gzdoom folder.

Thanks much, but I managed to update my video card drivers and its now working and BOY DOES GIVE NEW EYE CANDY!! :D I particularly enjoy making DoomRPG/RLA have more the feel of a theatrical movie now besides also having a way of 'darkening' the play experience without also causing lit areas to be dimmed. How many of these presets make use of the 'Film Grain', 'Technicolor' and dirty lens effects to bring a more theatrical feel to the game?
