Inheritance has LOTS customization for a marine, but coming up with so many different things for all the classes in HoD seemed to be more trouble than what it was worth. I'll see about adding one or two more weapon levels for the marines, though, as well as making them a little harder to achieve. A special feat for each class doesn't sound too bad. I'll mull over things and see what the old brain can put out.

Cool! I'm sick of bugs!
I have a monster idea in mind, but how to implement it is another story. I'm looking into depth not just for the player character, but for the adversaries as well. Stay tuned!

Ok. IDK if this is a bug. The Wizard's Ball Lightning spell doesn't seem to shoot anything at all, it restores mana with each shot (+10).

Each class will have an additional ability that must be earned. What this is and how it is earned are secrets!
OK, a couple of hints:
Marines: Impfire
The marines can unlock the demon within and gain the impfire ability from Inheritance.
Rogue: Trueshot
With enough practice, the Rogue will obtain the Trueshot ability, enabling her to cause one hit kills, but at a hefty price.
EDIT: Impfire and Trueshot tested and working!
EDIT2: The Warrior and Valkyrie have the same secret ability. Tested and working!
I hope to have all secret abilities done and a new update available by the end of Sunday.

Have you considering merging in cosmetic Doom or something, maybe after you've gotten all the core stuff out of the way? It feels a little weird shooting the guns with no muzzle flash or anything.

Aside from using code from Inheritance and all that, this project has been a one person job. While muzzle flashes and all that do look nicer, I'd prefer someone else to make them.

New update!
A couple of bugs fixed.
Weapon level gains take longer.
Weapons removed from shop. Go find 'em yerself!
Each class now has a secret ability! Can you discover them?
EDIT: A couple of things altered. Please redownload!
EDIT 2: A new music track added, too.
EDIT 3: Working on next release. Heretic ammo balance was terrible. Hopefully, that's all fixed now.

The Archer frozen model was the frozen Revenant model. Bug?

Nothing seems wrong with the code, unless I'm overlooking something. I'll see what I can do.

Valkyrie should have a javelin. The problem is I can't find anything that could help you with my idea.

The javelin idea sounds great! The concept is simple enough, and I'm sure I can manipulate Hexen sprites for the arm throwing animation. Perhaps the Javelin itself could be based on the Rogue's arrow, as far as trajectory goes.
As for the warrior, it's a bit tougher. I personally love two-handed swords, but he already has a good sword. Maybe a spear or trident, based on the Blood pitchfork?

Or a Halberd maybe. A pole arm weapon would be nice. Longer range with slower attack.

OK, I think it's going to be a Frost Spear for the Warrior, and a Lightning Javelin for the Valkyrie. It's going to take a little while to do these, but expect them in the next release.
EDIT: I'd like to make the mod more melee oriented, as such works well with RPG elements. What do you think? The marines, for example, would still have firepower, but there would be less ammo and/or stronger monsters. Actually, I've replaced the dumb marine punch with something from R667, so that along with the gauntlets might prove more fun.
