Was that supposed to be a joke because it wasn't funny.

After saying in February or whenever that I would finish this, alas, it has not come to pass, and I do not have time to work on anything doom related anymore until school lets up. I'm all for letting somebody finish it, but as far as I know, nobody has stepped up to the plate. Anyway, the final decision is up to Kirby since it is his project, but (and this goes for nearly all doom projects I'm involved in right now) don't expect anything from me for a while. I would say sorry, but after disappointing you guys for several years in a row, sorry just doesn't cut it anymore.

And when did the forums get spell check?

EDIT: Crap, I realized it's not the forums, but the browser which is spell checking.

PROTIP: Don't insult Hotwax needlessly.

I am not insulted. My post was intended to be more sarcastic than funny anyway.

I agree! If it's mostly complete heck even I would volunteer to get it finished (although I am a chicken with scary stuff, as hotwax knows). Or if it's not going to be finished it should AT LEAST be made open source. I mean who STILL wants to play the remains of that zdoom forum wad?

Is there a public preview download for that? I'd like to steal... erm... borrow some stuff for my TCOTD2 :)

I'm a little curious on what kinda of scary this project is looking for. Is it the serious all-out fright fest or something more silly like ghost busters?

It was meant to be scary.

As in fear scary or disturbing scary?

Far too much goes the disturbing route these days.

What? This is how any good thriller works. You don't reveal much or anything at all to the audience. It's what is in their imaginations that scares them the most.

I think it's meant to be tense scary, sort of like Doom3 was meant to be (and how I've found a current, and much more quickly developed WIP)

ZHalloween will only be released once this thread exceeds the length of the KDIZD thread.

ZHalloween will never make it to KDiZD at this rate. The project will most likely be abandoned, finished, or released (as in don't finish) before it can reach to somewhere around 300(?), unless you start spamming, and the moderators don't care if you do.
