Alright ladies and non-ladies, I have an interesting proposition for you all! In order to increase productivity around here in Kirraville, I have something special that will start this week!

Every week, I'm going to release a new weapon from the fabled The Works: Vol. 2! Hyped or excited?! YOU SHOULD BE! A lot of these weapons have already found their way into wads despite the incomplete status of the graphics (animation-wise, anyways), but I've been tweaking and tinkering around with them for a while now and it's time to stop teasing and START RELEASING!

So the question you may be asking yourself is, "Marty, my friend, how exactly do you intend on doing this? Why are you making such a big deal?" Well the answer to that question imaginary person, is YOU get to decide what gets released every week!

Here's how it works! Reply to this topic with the name of the weapon you want released! Yep, that simple. Which ever weapon has the most votes gets released first! For reference, here's the weapons I've teased for the past three years (geeze, sorry guys!)

There's a couple of weapons that I've made that never got sneak peaks as well, so while I can't expect you to vote for them since you have no idea what they are, expect some more cool weaponry to be released alongside these as well!

A lot of you have been bugging the ever-loving crap out of me asking about these sprites so I decided to finally do something for the coolest community in the known universe. Consider this my gift to you guys.

Since I'm an old fan of Leviathan, and I am currently in the process of finishing a mod with the centered version in it I am curious to see your own implementation, so my vote goes to it!

BTW, the way you made the weapon graphics shine even by assembling a lot of well-known (and older!) graphics is remarkable IMO - these almost look like brand new sprites. Count me in as one of those waiting to enjoy the full set...

I would only add one little little thing: you need a new name for the set! I guess "The Works: Vol. 2" is just a placeholder

I'm really leaning toward suggesting to just release the whole pack at once, since they're clearly all done and the voting is taking up a barstidload of posts. I don't want to have to start ignoring this thread.

I actually don't have them all done, just bits and pieces here and there. BUT, you're right about the voting. :P In the meantime, it's safe to ignore the thread if the voting is obnoxious, I'll update the title when there's something released.
