*This mod is a work in progress, so any suggestions or criticize is welcome *

Vanilla as Fuck is my personal try at making a somewhat "enhanced" doom II gameplay mod.

This mod takes a lot it ideas from other popular 90's FPS and other super great doom mods.

Judging by the video, you could probably tweak enemies so they have a brief pause before firing, because instant-firing shotgunners are a nightmare.

I'm really really loving this! But what am i being credited for?

EDIT: Seems like the only thing close to what i could have done is the chainsaw rotation sprites.
But it looks like they were taken from your recent sheet rather than lowtech remake.

You were credited cause I used your Silencer code for the pistol's altfire, which I disabled till I can get it to work the way I planned for it.

This mod has a great potential. Aside of dumb nitpicks, i have no cons against this. ;)

The chaingun produces too much kickback when firing, making sustained fire a bit difficult. Otherwise, the rest of the mod is okay so far.

This mod is Vanilla as Fuck! Hellser approves. Though, only complaint I have is it feels like the Marine is on a skateboard while firing. Maybe this is how you want it, in that case, power to you. :D

The tilt and recoil intensity need to be reduced, it gives me motion sickness.
And I just want to say good luck and keep up the good work!

Hopefully we will see this become fleshed out soon! It was pretty interesting to play around with it for a few minutes. One complaint though, there's been random movement stutter and it throws me off pretty bad. Maybe it has to do with the titling. That was why I didn't really play around with it for for than an hour. Will you take some inspiration from the Doom Bible for this or are you going to expand upon the base game itself for what it is?

I keep on forgetting to turn that off TBH.

The recoil is going to be patch in the next update as for the tilt, I'll see of I can somehow lighten it up.

the only idea I got from the Doom Bible is adding different classes to pick from, I'm gonna add in the next update is the option to be a male or a female marine.

pretty neat first impression i must say, although the smg and rifle sorta feel and act the same, the pump shotgun CLEARLY is better than either shotgun, and the being pushed back by gunfire thing is totally annoying. Aside from that, all the animations are crisp and the vastly improved monster sprites are really nice! theres actually alot under the hood that makes it better, deceiving people who might not know better. the only graphical effects i dislike is the smoke (maybe more opacity?) and the wall blood... way different color than the splatter.

i'll get back to you once i'm able to do a playthough

Update time lads

Added a new powerup "Ban Shield"
Added a players classes
Added new monster "mastermind"
Reduced the recoil of the weapons
Reduced the tilt
Patched up the M40 and rifle dmg
Removed the Rocker launchers's alt-fire
Added a GrenadeLauncher
Added new effects for the BFGBall

Loving the feedback you guys are giving me.
