With due respect, I don't see why most new mods need to have their own Discords. We've got a perfectly good forum here, after all, where things are a bit more persistent (no losing your feedback and bug reports amid chat flood).

I agree. For mods like D4D it seems to make some sense, since it's a mod with a larger presence and a larger fanbase. However, Doom Delta is a much smaller mod with much less players, and there isn't a lot of discussion in here anyway, so a Discord would be deader than dirt.

Working on some changes to the HUD to make things cleaner and generally nicer. Some things are still pretty rough, but I feel I'm taking a step in the right direction.

Doom Delta is approaching its first release! All that is left for this version is some testing and polishing. Here is a screenshot of the intermission screen:

Your score is now counted up per level, with the total instantly appearing. It is a pretty nice touch, and fills up a bit more space. This isn't the final solution to filling up the rest of the space, but it's a good start.

Sure! The mod is now feature locked until the first version is released, but I'd be interested in implementing it in a later version.

Looks really nice so far! Do you ever plan on making a 16:9 compatible helmet HUD?

Currently the helmet hud is compatible with 16:9 and 4:3. 16:10 and 5:4 won't be in the first release due to implementation problems involving SBARINFO.

For those who've seen the current TITLEPIC, you may recall that it is...lacking.

Pictured here is the new TITLEPIC that will be used for the final release!

The reason for the delay in the release is due to some planned testing with GZDoom 2.4.0, which so far has proved functional with no mod-related bugs in testing.

Initially the coloring and lineart were done by me and another artist in Drawpile, which is really good if you draw using a tablet. However, the coloring did not transfer very well into the palette, so I brought the lineart in and re-did it all in Paint.NET to make sure it fit the palette.
