The Projects forums are only for projects. If you are asking questions about a project, either find that project's thread, or start a thread in the General section instead.

Got a cool project idea but nothing else? Put it in the project ideas thread instead!

You actually had some positive feedback in there. Even claimed it wasn't the worst of those 'everything' mods. ;) Still, thanks!

Also, heads up, D4D has made it to the top 100 mods on ModDB. Meaning you can vote for it yet again.

I voted once for this... I can't seem to find the new voting button for when it reached the top 100. It just seems to be giving me the runaround... :\

Spoiler: Where to find it
I don't know why it scales up so huge... Oh well. Anyway it's under Doom 2. Not 1.

Also, everyone, thank you for voting!

Voted for this one too, one of the best efforts put into a doom mod so far!

Even though I voted for Doom 4 for Doom, I am rather disappointed by the lack of competition.

Brutal Doom is several years old and there are other worthwhile Doom mods on ModDB, like KontraKommando's Aliens TC and Blade of Agony.

It's a popularity contest, it's expected to suck.

To play the Devil's Advocate for a little... sure the coding for Brutal Doom may be messy and disorganized... but at it's base, it's quite the masterpiece. The way Brutal Doom works, with all the various ways you can interact with monsters, monster cadavers, and other objects, is a stroke of genius.

**end advocating for the Devil**

Not to say that D4D doesn't deserve to be the best mod... the code here is so avant-garde and revolutionary it'll make people's heads spin. The upgrade menu alone is totally amazing. This mod is literally oozing with evidence of hard work and dedication. :D

Just to balance all the D4D praise theres still some things that would be nice(Already voted for you guys and basically only play your mod with hf now) like

Credit adjustment in options, so like we can have x10 credit gain if we want while we play 1 map wads

Some system for custom mob credits, I've seen one way back but haven't been able to find it again(I remember it was based on mob health I think?)

The disabling of monster pinatas not disabling default drops(Shotgun zombie dropping shotgun ammo as an example)/ sometype of mode to detect once you have the chainsaw to disable monster pinatas(or starting you off with a chainsaw)

Still one of the best mods for megawad playthoughs, and one of my fav's
