I'm actually crying right now. He was my favorite song writer ever since I watched Natural Born Killers (best movie ever made) for the first time and heard "The Future". I only know one other person who understands his lyrics. You really can see the future if you understand what you're looking for. It's just like one of those magic eye 3d posters when you do it right.
First We Take Manhattan. This could have been Bernie's victory song. I was even listening to it as I worked out this morning.
Nevermind. This was the theme song from True Detective Season 2. People said Season 2 sucks and they're not wrong, but I love this song. It's so uplifting it gives me hope for the future.
Between these three songs I feel like I may have a shot at surviving the next 4-to-8 years...
