New version certainly rocks! In addition to already mentioned issues I have to say only one: weapon order is strange. When my ammo on any weapon is depleted, weapon is auto-switched to vortex rifle. That's not good, because many times I've been shooting hordes with mobile turrett and SUDDENLY had a sniper weapon in my hands. With dozens of monsters all around in close distance. And that sniper weapon isn't even Gauss Cannon.

I had a slight problem with my savegame in DUMP 3 in the map electron;
Loaded it and all my weapons and credits disappeared; Tried to load the autosave and I didn't even have the ability to punch. I am on GZDoom build g2.3pre-113.
Other than that, I had loads of fun testing the new features, it is very balanced, thanks for making this!
EDIT: Oops, It wasn't because of your mod, I discovered that after testing(it only started to appear after I had installed it), Sorry!

If there are issues, they need to be reported in the appropriate forums, even if this mod was "designed for 2.2.0" - that's no excuse for putting up with feature regressions and breakage.

I just noticed that there is, in fact, compatibility with Brutal Doom 64, if you load the maps and the music, but take out bd64v1_main.pk3 and replace it with d4d.pk3. I load that before the other files.
So did I just create Doom 3.5?
...or is it an abomination?
edit: I actually like the Doom 64 maps far more than Ultimate Doom or Doom 2's maps. With the exception of Episode 1.
edit2: This way I can play both mods at the same time, but this is, obviously, optional. Both the D4D team and SMIV have produced outstanding mods.

Can I use cheats with this mod? I'm just curious if they have been disabled or rigged to explode, since I often find some megawads having glitches that force me to idclip or iddqd once a while to skip those problematic parts. I'd hate to lose my legitimate game progress due to a faulty map and no way to use cheats to skip it.

You can noclip/god/buddha without risk. It's just the give command that will give you trouble. If you need keys, you can use give keys.
Try to avoid ID(K)FA because armor will break (gives the 50% absorption armor instead of the 100%)

Out of curiosity, do you think a jetpack Revenant would be doable in idtech 1?

Two things regarding demon transformations:
First one is just a personal opinion I have, but I find the spawn rate for the runes might be a bit too common? In any huge fight where a lot of demons appear at once you're pretty much guaranteed to have at least one or two of them drop a rune, at which point you can invalidate the entire fight. That's obviously their goal, to turn you into a burly demon of asskickery, but I find their spawn rate to be a little bit too common for that.
Second one might be a bug, though not sure if it was done intentionally. Anyway, you're unable to pick up anything in demon form I've noticed, usually not that big of a deal but this includes keycards, and that does become quite a big deal when they're needed to advance. I've found myself sitting around a keycard/skull waiting for the demon mode to run out so I could pick up the key and be on my way quite frequently.

I'm getting something weird with one of the frames for the pistol:
Spoiler: screenieThat's the frame after a charged shot, and it's the only frame from all the weapons (I've tried most of them) that has this. A file issue maybe? Or is it the driver on my end? I don't think I've ever seen this before.

I could probably add in something special for the keys in particular so they collect no matter what.
Also, everyone, you can cancel morphs immediately by pressing your MOD SWITCH key. Just an FYI.
@Megaherz, that looks like a bug with GZDoom. Might want to report that over here.
