Recently, Tara Strong tweeted that she's doing some more voice acting. See here. Notice Twilight's ear? Wonder if they're going to upgrade the models some for our Mane.. 7 (if GlimGlam is going to stay)?

The eyes are also different.Hellser wrote:Recently, Tara Strong tweeted that she's doing some more voice acting. See here. Notice Twilight's ear? Wonder if they're going to upgrade the models some for our Mane.. 7 (if GlimGlam is going to stay)?
...And now, Ladies and Gents. I present to you... New Twilight sprites.

So what's the deal on this project so far? Welp. Lost all my flash artists. So I'm throwing all the flash work down the drain and using blender models instead by CreatorOfPony. These models STEAMROLL over the gmod pony models. These are so much better in every damn way possible. They're not only easier to animate, they also look so much more show-like. GMOD's ponies when compared to these look like they suffer from a big-headed perspective syndrome -- too big of eyes, head, muzzle, etc.Twilight Sparkle wrote:...Say it again. Say it one more time, mouse, if you must. But just remember this. I tower over you.
It only took me a day to learn the essentials I needed to get to animating her immediately. I've already completed her walk cycle.

Oh, they finally released those? Maybe I'm thinking of someone else, but I seem to recall for a long time those weren't made available for some reason.
Time to download and learn Blender!

I think you might be thinking of SFM?
These have been available for a long time. Though I am getting the ball rolling on having those converted (I'm not doing it) for GMOD/SFM use.

Redfox, if you do not like MLP:FiM, there is no reason for you to be in the thread. It's right there in the title: "Topic for people who like MLP:FiM." Kindly vacate, please.

I had a lot of fun making this. Full on 16 degrees of rotations, all unique. Apologies for the shit quality. It'll get better next time.

Re: Topic for people who like MLP:FiM
Oh, there are new episodes... man, it's hard to think about MLP these days.
Re: Topic for people who like MLP:FiM
i wouldn't say the new episode was a dissapointment
but it was less than what it could've been
still good
tho reformed villains is getting a bit stale

Re: Topic for people who like MLP:FiM
it's not really "reformed villain" as much as it is "defecting from the hive", since it's a changeling from the hive and not the queen herself. and only half of the villains (Discord, Starlight; not sure if Nightmare Moon counts because IIRC she was possessed with darkness or someshit) have been reformed and the others been defeated in some way or form (Sombra, Tirek, Chrysalis)

Re: Topic for people who like MLP:FiM
A reformed villain will only happen if this changeling actually manages to learn how to produce love and pass that back on, causing a revolution among kin.
Nightmare Moon DEFINITELY counts.

Finally after months of waiting, PrinceWhateverer has graced us with an extended metal cover of Countess Coloratura's "Spectacle"!

Re: Topic for people who like MLP:FiM
so, i figured my current reference sheet was a bit too incomplete, so recently i compiled a reference sheet myself, out of important bits of art and old references i had lying around. (big image warning) i'll probably add in a humanized version of Viscra there once i get one, too (not EQ-style, just plain humanized.)
