Mysterious F Drive appeared... Am I infected?
This just appeared today and I'm unable to do anything with it, I unplugged my USB drives and nothing is helping.

Why would this appear just now then? I'm confused.

Read the page. It'll tell you why it's created. It's nothing to fear. Since it involves your boot loader..... don't mess with it.
I'd still point a finger at GWX though

I did accidently right click the "format option" earlier, Nothing seems to have happened to it though but I hope I didn't screw with anything by doing that.leileilol wrote:Read the page. Re: Mysterious F Drive appeared... Am I infected?
Every day I see another reason to stay away from Windows 10. Actually there were two reasons today. This, and the fact that earlier today at work I spent almost 5 minutes pondering the reasons why the Start Menu was so bad (as I have to use a Windows 10 machine to do my work).

At least Classic Shell still works, though.Nevander wrote:Every day I see another reason to stay away from Windows 10. Actually there were two reasons today. Classic Shell is a good option. I was getting tired of waiting for 5 minutes for a search to start SLADE.

That's because you're not using it like how Cool Dudes use it.Nevander wrote:This, and the fact that earlier today at work I spent almost 5 minutes pondering the reasons why the Start Menu was so bad

You'd hate my taskbar, then. So many regularly-used programs pinned to it it's practically a Mac OSX Dock.Graf Zahl wrote:What a mess...
My desktop, though? Spotless. Only one icon (Recycling Bin) and that's because I can't figure out how to change that.

Re: Mysterious F Drive appeared... Am I infected?
I keep two columns of icons along the left side. Anything out of place and I'll notice, so it's a good way to leave myself reminders. Other stuff goes into subdirectories on the desktop, though I've got a few frequent-use things in the top of the start menu. (Whenever I fire up my 486, I still find Program Manager relatively comfortable. File manager is still a pain in the ass though, to the point where I was writing my own file utilities back in the day. Though I still think 3.1 looked more lively with just 16 colors than the flat-colored crap they started doing with 8. #RememberHotDogStand )Kinsie wrote:My desktop, though? Spotless.

I cleanup my desktop when I need to. I also don't use my start menu often. I'm using Windows 10 by the way.
