Woah... Okay, guys! Today I won't be able to work so much because I will go far away to take a driving lesson. But until then you could think about additional details if you would like to. BigProjectAlone, how would it be good for you. I mean should I keep the string and put the original ethereal arrow instead or make this arrow into ethereal one? I would try to do it anyways but I have to know so I won't do unnecessary things...

The original one would do it! And if you could do it without the string using the original crossbow sprite unstead it would be perfect for me since i use the original heretic crossbow in my mod.
I would just love to use this reload animation unstead of the original.
Thank you !

Trying to get myself back in the modding mood. Spent a couple of hours on this, still a WIP. Idea is an armored trench fighting soldier, akin to medieval armor and a lot of those crazy WWI-era body armor concepts.
I like it, looks like something from Madmax, probably it's intentional.
You'll be using single point perspective which means there's one point toward which everything shrinks. The farther away something is, the smaller it is.
In order to keep the vanishing point (the point toward which everything shrinks and inevitably vanishes) in the centre of the screen you have to keep the camera pointed forward and move the objects around it while keeping them pointing straight forward as well.
Spoiler: Single Point Perspective Cubes Exercise
Actually draw that out and it should stick with you.
I'll work on that. But I kept the minigun sprites like that because I don't see that effect in the vanilla Doom chaingun.
Perspective definitely exists since it's a photograph (real world has perspective) and it was photographed at an angle that put the front farther away than the rear, as opposed to a top-down view aligned to the camera which would render it all the same size.
