Could I use those flashes on another gun? I think they might work for another gun I have.

If I remember correctly, those are the hitscan puffs from Heretic's tomed Dragon Claw; you might want to get them out of the WAD if you want them more complete to layer underneath a smaller gun sprite.

I must confess, I really like the look of the CyClones pistol as a two-handed weapon. Makes it feel larger than it did in its source game.
