Dude - that's an awesome sprite. There are so many applications for that - not to mention a Blake Stone remake.gerolf wrote: Here's a security guard sprite that I made for Shaw's Nightmare.

Re: [SPRITES] Spriting Carnival!!
Trying to deal with what's wrong with this sprite - maybe the angles don't match, or the shading's a tad wonky. I'm honestly not entirely sure it's just one thing.
EDIT: I'm probably gonna make a lot more use of this hand.
EDIT TRAIN: Barrel and firing frame.

that hand fits so much better
it always bugged me how the other hand was holding his thumb upwards instead of forwards, because that's not how you hold a gun

The reason it looks funny is because the angle of the receiver doesnt match the angle of the foregrip. Though it may be that the foregrip is ergonomically stretched vertically, in actuality, thats where the visual discrepency comes from.comet1338 wrote:that hand fits so much better

Now that I look at it there is a slight mismatch between the angle of the entire front and back half of the gun. The picatinny rail rear is at a slightly shallower angle.
The solution would be to separate the front and back halves, and slightly Skew the rear part of the front to match the shallower angle. Make sure you zoom out and lean back from the screen to get a whole view.

Re: [SPRITES] Spriting Carnival!!
A tweaked and slightly recolored version of the d64 mancubus fireball (the smaller one anyway)
Im going to try it out as a cyberdemon rocket replacement (ie, that his fist weapon is in fact a hate-fireball shooter).

Shit, this is what I got when I skewed the back:RSSwizard wrote:The reason it looks funny is because the angle of the receiver doesnt match the angle of the foregrip. After rereading your post, I went back and skewed the front instead:

Decided to go a little creative with what I found. Credits to Sergeant Mark IV, DoomNukem, MisterEnchanter, and Carbine Dioxide.
What do you guys think?

Where am I on that sprite?
Have a Gore tex Rifle. It could use a little more spit and polish, so I might take back my gift.

Pretty sure you it was the UAC imprint from one of your DoomNukem (or Mike12) Rifle edits.

those bullet belts on the sides makes it looks like it's a double barreled or something, intentional?Doomguy5th wrote:What do you guys think?
