Never made a Doom map in my life, but what the hell, I'll give it a go.

And on this very positive note I need to say goodbye... sorry, have very hard situation since that day... very... complicated....

I'll put the PSD of that toy so you can finish what I've started or do your own.

HERE

Some info for it:

Name: Rybak (Рыбак, rus. "Fisherman")
Ammo type: clip
Slot 4
Main Fire: usual chaingun. Very fast.
Alt Fire: use 25 bullets for single "tankshot" projectile. Damage almost equal to Rocket Launcher.
Nice weapon. I'll probably try it out.

On another note, is anyone else making a DM map?

I noticed that the past 2 Dumps had cc4-tex.wad included (I assume so that the maps work with all doom iwads). Will it be in dump 3 and if so are we allowed to use the extra textures inside it?

I registered just to sign up for this. I'm definitely going to make a map.

In the original post picking up unfinished projects and finishing them was stated as acceptable, yeah?

(Thanks, Eevee, for informing me that there was going to be another one of these.)

Count me in.
I'll be making a map, and perhaps a weapon if I have the time!

Yes.

Not the preferred way at all, but several other people have done it before.
Deviluke Roy wrote:On another note, is anyone else making a DM map?
Please don't make a DM map for this. This is not a DM project!

And.
If it's a single map with a single track, MAP01 and D_RUNNIN in a single .WAD?
No, please make a new post with the submission form.
And yes, if you don't know how to mapinfo or .pk3, map01 and D_RUNNIN are perfectly fine.

Well, yes, so I think it'll be the same here. I'm thinking of making a teleport ambush, but I don't know how to make teleport spots in Slade3. Why don't I get GZdoom builder?

Also, if that map does go in (along with my DM map), the quote will probably be "How funny. House of Hell by Deviluke Roy."

And then the author would be "Deviluke Roy (But you knew that)"

Wait what?

Is there a rule saying that I can't make DM maps?

Doesn't Zandronum have bots?

Couldn't we just make the DM level only accessible in the Multiplayer select thing from Zandronum like the Marathon map?

- Note: The Midi is not in the map info it needs to be put it there. Also it was made with the Game configuration: Zdoom (Doom in doom format). And yet i cant see to jump not that it a problem because the map dosent requires either and its 100% vanilla so it dosent have custom weapons or monsters.

Updated: now it has a secret

(am i doing this correctly?)
This map needs a lot of work. While you could do a lot with the box theme, there's just not enough in here to be interesting, either visually nor gameplay-wise. Take a look at some other maps, even a crate maze can be fun if enough thought is put into it. Take some more time and add some visual detail, differing heights, etc. etc. You've got plenty of time!

Ok, maybe I can do the DM map and House of hell. Maybe just house of hell. Eh.

Just a quick note, both maps are unfinished.

Here's the DM map.
Here's House of Hell.

Alright, if Weasel's going to actually do something this time, I'm in. I need to get off my ass and make a real map anyway.

I'm in, I'll make a couple maps, maybe a few weapons too, what are the available weapon slots? I'd like to make a shotgun-tier weapon.

in the meantime here's a prototype map I whipped up last night, difficulty levels implemented and everything, maybe a little rough around the edges.

It's a singleplayer/co-op map pack. A DM-focused DUMP has been proposed before (don't know if/when that's happening), but this isn't it, unfortunately.
