Not sure if it is because of GZDoom version you're using but when those things don't play, go to sound options and press restart sound, i should be playing by that.

GZDoom's handling spc's from GMOTA just fine.

Just tried "restart sound" during the quiet parts, and that worked. Curious as to why I need to do it in the first place, as I had to do it every time a new song played.

Are you sure you're not using an outdated version of gzdoom? Golden Souls 2 uses almost entirely spcs and everything works fine

Pretty sure. It's the next to latest dev build as of now- gzdoom-x64-g2.2pre-1403-g11cd38f

Might want to throw that build (1403) in the trash and revert to 1396. It is a known broken test build.

Gave it a shot, and no luck.

But, I finally got it working. I switched from Fmod to OpenAL, and set its output to my speakers. Finally worked.
Not sure what all that means exactly, but it works.

If you're asking if the definitive edition is the same as golden souls, yes it is, it's just the name of that post launch update

By any chance there will be those extra levels that are in front of the mansion or there is nothing else to add?

Probably not, it was supposed to feature levels made by the comunity, some levels were being worked on but nothing got completed in the end.
I'm not developing this mod anymore since i'm working on the sequel, so there probably won't be significant content updates

Now putting a logo on it would be nice! great work. it looks amazing!

And speaking of which, the logo on the first page seems doesn't show, or disappeared on my chrome. which it's saddens me.
