I read Gardevoir's original announcement, and I knew he's just BS-ing us.
I got more worried only because of the intensity of the other comments. Man, y'all really fell for that one... super hard, might I add. XD

I am more than positive.
It was the other comments that got me. They seemed like this thing was really happening. But then this guy just up and bashes the Doom Community, calling Doom II the worst game ever, and then says he'll ragequit to CS:GO and Sqeakerville (Call Of Duty).
That comment of his was literally reeking with sarcasm.

Nah, it looks fairly okay as is. Could maybe use some stronger lighting contrast here and there; as it currently stands the lighting is incredibly flat. I'd also suggest changing the gray wall to brown, as the gray sticks out in a way I wouldn't consider appealing.
I'm also curious as to what exactly was sacrificed here. Go on, spill the beans!

I have sacrificed my soul to the brick god and I was joking about how the screenie looks bad. About flat lighting.... well, it's an outside area. The lighting is varied around and inside the building. About big bricks being gray, I'm just sticking to the original texture scheme a bit, besides, I like contrasting colors.

MAP14 is probably the worst single colored level in all of Doom 2, so anything you can do to make it any more varied is an improvement.

If the final product looks anything like that screenshot, you've already done justice to the map IMO.

Funny, it wasn't until I played the map a little bit ago that I realized just how monochrome that map is. You are doing us all a great service by giving it more color.
