I have an itch to do sprites for both Blasphemer and this though. Player-related sprites. I want to see both games working with capabilities for deathmatch, though a few questions:
- Polymorph monsters?
- Why is the repository just a WAD?
- Do you have any concepts in idea for the player classes?
- Are you willing to not copy Hexen in a painting-by-the-numbers manner? Like for example the sapphire wand is never identified beyond the help screens so we could have it be something else, like a finger. Blasphemer also closely treads this line with its elven wand being like a tiny rounder clone of the same thing, though every other weapon looks awesomely different.
I had to bump this thread because this project does not have many points of contact. The bare repository with a WAD isn't very thrilling.

- Because I'm doing it differently than Freedoom and Blasphemer, i.e. compiling everything in Slade. I wish I could make a build-system like Freedoom and Blasphemer, but I'm too inexperienced with such things.

- Definitely, yes. I agree the Jade Wand is probably too close to Hexen (works as placeholder art though). I'm not really much of an artist myself, so I need to rely on outside contributions.
I don't really feel like I'm doing a very good job of maintaining this project, though. Lack of time and talent isn't helping much. If anyone wants to take over the project (what little there is), please contact me in this thread or however you want.

I am afraid of Blasphemer now, google code is going read-only the developers must transfer their project to some other place (git hub) for example.

Just thought I'll let you all know that this project isn't dead, we still very much desire all sorts of contributions. I've also made contact with a musician, hopefully he'll join the project, but I'll make a more formal announcement about it later once we made more progress on it.
