If the frankenspriting was cleaned up a little and if the sheet was complete this would actually make a decent enemy.

I made this out of pure irony but however now that you think about i could turn this into an enemy and also clean up the arms a bit.Mikk- wrote:If the frankenspriting was cleaned up a little and if the sheet was complete this would actually make a decent enemy.

@J
That's one fine minigun. It was about time to get another good angled one.

Re: [SPRITES] Spriting Carnival!!
I took some inspiration from horrormovieguy's goreless doom sprites and decided to make goreless versions of the wolfenstein enemies deaths. I also removed all the blood covered on BJ's outfit as well.

Speaking of which, SNES Wolf3d had goreless death animations as well.

Only the hud and tile sets were ever ripped and released to the public. someone else on the forum was going to rip them but eventually became inactive sadly.Captain J wrote:Speaking of which, SNES Wolf3d had goreless death animations as well.

Re: [SPRITES] Spriting Carnival!!
No, the sprites were released too, but the death animations and pain frames do not include all the frames from the PC version (the animations are just like the MAC ones in terms of how many sprites each character has). So this is useful for people who want the full animations. Also the textures form the SNES version were not released.Luigi2600 wrote:Only the hud and tile sets were ever ripped and released to the public. someone else on the forum was going to rip them but eventually became inactive sadly.Captain J wrote:Speaking of which, SNES Wolf3d had goreless death animations as well.
Another thing to remember is the sprites in the SNES version have less colors to them due to the engine, but it's not very noticeable. Hitler's goreless death is just an over-sized officer. The textures are downscaled to 32x32 but are scaled as 64x64. So to get the SNES textures look kinda like this but these are not the official ones, and the ones in the game do look different, but this is how the textures looked and maybe someone could use them as a base to create the real ones:
