Got a cool project idea but nothing else? Put it in the project ideas thread instead!

Projects for any Doom-based engine (especially 3DGE) are perfectly acceptable here too.

Yeah, that looks pretty good. Any chance of a stabbing animation (forward thrust) to go along with it?

i had no idea about that, actually. maybe shrinking it multiple times would be helpful to make it stabbing.

anyone have any animated billowing smoke sprites akin to this explosion:
splode1.png
but off to the left or right. I need it around three (or six) sprites and to loop. if not have such sprites does anyone remember an old game that had something like it in and I could go research it on the sprite resource site..?

itd be super easy to make one.

create a box around each one in your favorite editor, cut each frame out, paste it into a new project, save each frame as whatever ("sploa1, sploa2, sploa3" etc) until you have worked your way down the sheet, then drop them all into your wad in slade. highlight them all, then right click and hover over "gfx". from there click "convert to" just do "transparency from brightness". it will take out the white background and now youll have them ready to go.

Or you can just put the sprites on a black background and use additive RenderMode. 8-)

is anyone willing to rip some (read: all) payday 2 weapon sounds?
mainly looking for the firing sounds, no reload or fidlly sounds needed

Don't do that. If you pick up invulnerability in doom the black gets inverted, and becomes super noticeable.
