heh, that's pretty cute, actually. Nitemare 3D wasn't that bad... but it wasn't very good either. how do you jump from the relatively easy difficulty from level 1, to the absolutely nightmarish difficulty of level 2? the gap is too steep, it definitely needs a lot less hitscanner enemies this early on!

Yeah they should of reduced the hit scan damage for the enemies, I don't see why none of the enemies used projectiles. Episode 3 gets hard because there is only one melee enemy which is a ghost, the rest are hitscan. Shame really, good concept, I can't think of any good FPS games where you kill the universal monsters.

Still one of my favourite childhood games, hopefully when I continue working on my project I will reduce the damage by quite a bit.

Some other unused sprites:

The thing that couldn't die, old version, now have a replacement for this:

Here is an attempt at trying to make it appear as though the player has acquired the Centaur's sword and bracelets from Hexen. I was also hoping to make a green fire aura surround this sword like the Quitus and the firestorm but I'm just not able to understand how raven made those effects. Worst come worst, I may need to stretch and skew the Quietus's green fire aura around this blade. It may turn out ugly, but at least the sword will have the nice fire I want it to have.

I was wondering, since the parts i used for those pick ups were only for reference, i re-drawn them over, maybe they cold be resized and used for freedom.

Edit: I mean about the style, of course i would have to re-do them to fit Freedom's HUD sprites.

Here is a Deagle I made. I know this isn't the resource request thread, but can some one Blox or Doom Nukem it up a little or at least make it look better? I imagine that I am not breaking the law by posting a sprite I made that could use some touching up.

we actually cant do that, because it would be a recreation of the doom character, making it fanart. that s also the reason why the freedoom cyberdemon is not a hoofed horned demon
