Not necessarily. I can vaguely recall there being many effective, useful and intelligent discourses by people under assumed names throughout history.Ernest Drongerbog wrote:The mods can see who everyone is, regardless of anonymity or not.
And I think you're missing the point. If you need to use it, you may want to reconsider what you're posting and why.

While I'm not going to argue with you, this does suspiciously sound like you're playing devil's advocate just because you can.The_Funktasm wrote:Not necessarily. People seem to think that a lot about me. Whatever. Some opinions are just better left nameless to preserve one's reputation. There is a double standard about opinions on the internet, you know...Kate wrote:While I'm not going to argue with you, this does suspiciously sound like you're playing devil's advocate just because you can.The_Funktasm wrote:Not necessarily. Were I the devil's advocate I'd ask why someone would bother with the feature if it were to be monitored, and I'd have completely disregarded the why of the matter, or some similar vehicle to argue instead of just logically converse and speak my mind. Also nobody seems to be saying what they last did all of a sudden. I last got irritated and remembered why I don't talk to people much online or otherwise. Always a pleasant thing to remember.

Much like in the thread I was irritated in, you. cannot. read. I threw my quarter in the well and now I'm done. Leave it.Kinsie wrote:None of them were on internet forums.The_Funktasm wrote:Not necessarily. (though case in point I feel I might have been more civil there if I'd not seen your name. irony)
There's not really anywhere positive this can go from here so I'm going to stop participating and hope you don't keep quoting me.

I must say I liked the Duke Burger avatar more.

Re: The New What Did You Last Do Thread
Last night I played a bit of Dark Souls 2. I'm at NG+2 and I really enjoy powerstancing greatswords.
I streamed the whole thing here (I recommend skipping to the 35:00 mark, that's where I stop sucking)
The video quality sucks, I know, but it's as high as I can go with my current bandwidth.

I just played some Doom for the first time in months. It was oddly... boring.

Re: The New What Did You Last Do Thread
So after some digging, I realized this was a thing.
Yup, someone did a LP of one of my old "I am not very proud of it" wads (and remember, it's NSFW).
I'm just watching this and going between a mixture of giggling and cringing, I was so weird as a kid...
Edit: Missed a letter, thanks ed.
They also played another thing, the criticism in the video is very valuable, I must say.

Re: The New What Did You Last Do Thread
so i freaked out a bit today trying to install this aftermarket cooler in my case... luckily, after a couple of hours, we- well, we're still not finished with it yet, but now we know how it should be done, so hopefully my desktop will be up and running again tomorrow.

Man, when I installed my aftermarket cooler, I put it on too tight first, then had cpu causing gpu troubles, then it worked. The stock cooler was much easier to install. Building a computer is apparently easier than upgrading one.
