Re: [SPRITES] Spriting Carnival!!
Cage made an awesome update of the Lameduke RPG.
Unfortunately, it wasn't widescreen-friendly.
I made a vague attempt at fixing this:

nice going but, man. duke's right hand is kinda massed up, his arm never matches with his hand. also, kinda thin for duke's macho-thicky arms.

Blox/Bloax/BLAX did this edit of the Action Doom 2 uppercut that's a bit more buff.

I'm going to replace the hands with the Doom ones (because Reelism), but thanks for the heads-up.Captain J wrote:nice going but, man. duke's right hand is kinda massed up, his arm never matches with his hand. also, kinda thin for duke's macho-thicky arms.
Cheers, I'll give that a whirl if I haven't flattened the PSD like an idiot.Marty Kirra wrote:Blox/Bloax/BLAX did this edit of the Action Doom 2 uppercut that's a bit more buff.
Re: [SPRITES] Spriting Carnival!!
Is it just me or do you have a slightly outdated version?
edit: I am also most definitely not "BLAX". :v
Re: [SPRITES] Spriting Carnival!!
That hand looks decent enough on its own (although it's has its own cartoony vibe to it) but it does not fit the photorealistic Duke hands at all. The black pillow-shaded edges have to go, definitely...

You were probably right, I just wanted to be doubly sure was all.agaures wrote:I thought this thread was for sharing your sprite-work that anyone else has the permission to use. Must have been wrong.Project Dark Fox wrote: Actually, can I use it, too? I could do for more variety on my end.

That's an amazing sprite! Most people recycle Wolfenstein stuff and it gets all cartooney. That's awesome work.Doom Juan wrote:My first finished sprite from scratch:

I saw something very similar to that a while ago in this very thread: I believe 'ol Jackie showed me that particular chestnut.
