Re: [SPRITES] Spriting Carnival!!
"Their" is the possessive form of "They", which is the pronoun you should be looking for. (Since nothing is actually being possessed here. They are sprites, it's not their possessed fault.)
this is very important

You knew what I mean anyway (but I will keep that in mind next time), now time for me to upload something...
I just raised the arms and added hands to it.

Re: [SPRITES] Spriting Carnival!!
now that's an nice lmg what i asked for, but those rounds are kinda big, also needs some perspective behavior.
if you're going to finish it, i hope you can match that skull's colour with it's body, though!idGamer wrote:Been working on this very recently:Not sure if I'll finish it, but I'm liking the way the design has turned out so far.

Do continue it - it has good potential as a really goofy enemy.idGamer wrote:Been working on this very recently:

It kind of reminds me of the chestburster, or the bore-worm from Freedoom.

Actually it reminds me of the "Rope 2" enemy spritesets for the Bandai Satellite Zelda tileset for Zelda Classic. Infact Lemme fire up ZC real quick and extract the spriteset that I am talking about.
Edit: Here's exactly what I am talking about, and in it's proper CSET (Colourset, a term for a 16 colour Sub-Palletes in Zelda Classic, A Single Pallete in ZC is four Sub-Palletes (Coloursets), each Colourset is 1 transparency colour + 15 customizable Colours)

Re: [SPRITES] Spriting Carnival!!
Actually, they are not that big. It is possible to get belted rounds much bigger than that even today. OK, so huge rounds are usually for mounted weapons and not usually for a relatively small weapon like the one in the sprite but who knows what they will do in the future? However, even some current man-portable weapons use rounds that are not too different in size compared to the ones in the sprite and, if we are going for a game "OMG this is an awesomely powerful machine gun" look, the big rounds are absolutely fine IMO.Captain J wrote:but those rounds are kinda big

Re: [SPRITES] Spriting Carnival!!
doomzone's lmg was based on m249. so, 5.56mm rounds are that big enough actually, now i got that one. but still it needs lil' efforts on those round's perspective looks on it's magazine, too. it's always stacked up straight.Enjay wrote:Actually, they are not that big. Re: [SPRITES] Spriting Carnival!!
you don't need to go foward with that if you don't have to do it or i'm not highly wanted it, just keep it go foward with it if you didn't liked it or needs some improvements.
