Conan The Barbarian: Warrior of Doom(Beta 8)
This Project is now a Conan Mod.
It works because all the sprites already fit it.
Hello, I have made a melee style mod using Thomson1's conan sprites and terminusest13's melee experiment wad.
There are 4 weapons so far.
Kick briefly stuns enemys and pushes them back.
Block, well blocks frontal attacks.
Altfire lobs a grenade.
Run Plus a direction dodges.(requires stamina)
There is no armor, it has been converted to health.
Fists:
Rapidly click for fast weak attacks. Pause little bit after the last attack and then attack again for an uppercut.
GreatSword:
Rapidly click for somewhat fast strong attacks. Pause a bit after the first attack and attack again for a stab, and again for a slash.
Sword And Shield:
Rapidly click for medium power attacks. Pause and attack after the second attack for a shield bash, and continue to attack stab repeatedly.
Kick while Blocking to shield bash.
Bow:
Cannot Block, but it is fairly powerful and is the only ranged weapon.
Demon Sword:
Behaves like the greatsword but fires projectiles like quietus. Cannot block.

I wouldn't mind seeing a .txt file zipped up alongside the .pk3 that contained more general information on this mod, as well as links to some of the resources you used. I'll end up just googling TerminusEst13's melee because that one sounds pretty interesting, and I've enjoyed his ranger melee for the Hexen class.
I played this for a bit and I'm also wondering what IWAD this targets. I did try it in Ultimate Doom, but I'm curious if all the weapons/items/monsters will be present. Then again I also saw the screenshot with the Hexen expansion.

This wad is for doom/doom2. also i'll incluse a text file in the next release.

Updated first post with information and updated link. Bow now does more damage and greatsword sprites changed.

Updated. A few bug fixes and enemies no longer drop weapons(except for the bow), so you gotta find them.

Good medieval mod
The only problem i could see is against a boss like a cyberdemon or a spider mastermind (or any boss with massive health) it could take forever to kill them due to the lack of effective long range attack(yes the bow is strong against most enemies but against a boss it's a different story) But it's just my opinion so don't take it as "God's words"
In short it's a good medieval mod and it's fun to play so keep it up

Perhaps it would be ideal to include a version number in mod's filename upon new releases. For instance, I had to download an identically named file and compare sizes to determine that I didn't already have the update. Haven't tried the demon sword update yet, but I will.

May i ask you a favor? instead of just calling the file "Conan" could you consider to include the version in the tittle of the file? Like your present version could be called "ConanBeta6" instead of just "Conan". In other words i'm agree with everamzah. It's just a matter of making file organisation a bit more easy in order to find quickly the latest version of your mod.
Since your mod is really good i really hope you will continue this project. So Keep it up

Updated! Now all armor is health, enemies are more aggressive/faster, and hud now shows stamina.

I really like the HUD, makes me think of my 2 favorite Action-RPG games - Diablo 2 and Sacred (I know they are old games but they are good classic Action-RPG)
