[Released] Wrath of Cronos with heXercise

Projects that alter game functions but do not include new maps belong here.
Forum rules
The Projects forums are only for projects. If you are asking questions about a project, either find that project's thread, or start a thread in the General section instead.

Got a cool project idea but nothing else? Put it in the project ideas thread instead!

Projects for any Doom-based engine (especially 3DGE) are perfectly acceptable here too.

Please read the full rules for more details.

But would this be workable with new map sets though? I've tried hexercise before but not Wrath of Cronos so if it has new maps, that'd be great.
keep in mind this is just a weapons set, though im with you on the map thing. also, this isn't an official collaboration with lloyd or thetis, though hopefully they'll both jump in to it too eventually.
Greetings, gentlemen.

Regarding your interest on maps for the game, please, allow me to point you to this post of mine in the Project Ideas forum in the hopes it may whet your interest. I have spoilered it because it is rather massive.

Resuming it to its key points, in case you lack the time to read through, it's a suggestion for a compatibility patch between Wrath of Cronos (with or without Hexercise) and Serpent Resurrection. As I explain in the aforementioned post, WoC/H has the most excellent gameplay among Hexen mods, while Serpent Resurrection has hands down the best maps made for the game (it helps that's a whopping megawad with lots of exploration.)

And it is my belief that making both mods work together would make a terrific gameplay experience: The best maps, with the best gameplay available. I also provide a link to Serpent Resurrection, in case you haven't heard of it.
Spoiler:
Returning to the topic at hand: The Vorpal Sword sprites are plain awesome, especially the hand; it is terrifically well done, the way it holds the sword and the gauntlet overlapping.

Regarding the Necromancer, a dagger is a neat idea. Personally however, I find the scythe to be more fitting for the character, since in Hexen II's words, he may use it to "reap" his foes, and perhaps that could play on Hexercise's mechanics.

UNLESS! The dagger had a chance to spawn life-giving hearts a la Blood. You know, tearing them off of enemies, like a sacrificial dagger. Now that'd be bloody rad.

Firstly, i strongly approve of the merging of the projects into a mega hexen wad.
Secondly... The scythe sucks health with each attack, and if im right can suck mana too; my idea is that the dagger would be lighter damage, but faster and more characteristic of the mage, allowing for more rapid mana and health absorption. whether or not it becomes anything is up to Crazy, im just making this as a proposal of an idea. certainly noone will be changing anything on a whim. I also would love something like that, but its not my mod unfortunately.

Beat the game with the Mage today, some things I saw:

1. Arc of Death Alt-Fire does not get buffed by stat points, needs to be fixed.

2. An existing bug with WoC involving the Fade skill, it does not work in the Doom IWADs. It turns on and off right away on use, maybe you can fix this for this version of the MOD?

3. The Slot 6 staff weapon could use a small buff to it's alt-fire damage.

I approve of the merging of both projects as well. Hexen really deserves something like that, especially in terms of coop.

@Crudux; I prefer the previous dagger too. New one looks too thin.
