maybe make the ghosts different coloured lost souls? The Zombie Killer wrote:What am I doing with my life
Note I'm not using the sprites posted above, I made this cac-man set myself. It's just a case of mirroring the sprites anyway
I'm so lazy that I didn't even code this myself, it's just a reskinned Game Maker clone of Pac-Man
I DID however add a tiny bit of code to allow for hires sprites, since compared to pac-man's normal sprites, these are super hi-def

Re: [SPRITES] Spriting Carnival!!
Ripping these was harder than you think. No DS ripping tools were helping me rip anything so I had to keep pausing the emulation, use the sniping tool and then edit out the background pieces in paint.Blue Shadow wrote:Ah yes... the art of sprite ripping, very few can master it.
Also if you can find out where that character is from I shall reward you

Spoiler:How you figured that out? I will never know.
Welp, I might as well try to rip the rest of the frames and UGH. Is it gonna be a fucking chore

Aside from just pausing the game and snipping the sprites ((which is already a pain)) having to edit the background out to just leave the sprite is annoying. But if it's my only way of ripping such sprites it will have to do.

very very hard job you're doing, nice work. but this thread is for custom, fixed frash new sprites that could be help for doom mods after all.
so...why don't you post your future works at WIP thread or something else?

Thanks, next time I will try to make something "Doom-ey". I'll be posting Tsumami's full sheet at the Spriters Resource when I rip everything.Captain J wrote:very very hard job you're doing, nice work. but this thread is for custom, fixed frash new sprites that could be help for doom mods after all.

I ripped this from Will Rock earlier. I didn't scale it down small enough to really be suitable as a weapon, though.

Lighting makes it feel very unnatural since it's behind and under the spade when the light for everything else comes from above or slightly to the sides. You should pop a new layer over it set to soft light to remove the shadows and redraw them.Ctrl+Alt+Destroy wrote:I ripped this from Will Rock earlier. Re: [SPRITES] Spriting Carnival!!
I would think that the Blood Alpha has a great "Boomstick" that could work just fine, but if Mike12 did do something I'm sure it'd be awesome.
Some stuff I made a long time ago:
US Military-styled Tommy Gun (Blood):

I have one without the hands
Wolfenstein 3d styled Flintlock Pistol (I based the gun on something from some Hexen mod I cannot think of its name though):
