Bug: cant load saves

Hi I have the problem whenever I try to load a save with the mod "aeons of death" it says: this level was saved with a different set of acs modules. Please help I need to get it working because I'm streaming this mod live on Justin tv and now I cant load my save

This is user error.
You need to load the mod before you can load the save. Zdoom cannot reload wads while the engine has already launched.

sry but I dont really understand this what I do: Load up ZDoom with the mod files go on load in the menu and click on the savefile and then the errror shows up

Then your doing it wrong. This error only shows up when Zdoom cannot load the ACS from the save, because it doesn't match up with the ACS found in the mod/level.
Your clearly doing something different from when you saved the game to when you loaded it.

But If I try loading a save with the normal doom 2 wad without the mod it works

Wait, you mean to say that you are trying to load a save that was made without the mods, in attempt to load it with mods? That will never work. Its like trying to load a save from one mod with one set of maps, with another mod with a completely different set of maps.
Also: Use the edit button to make changes or additions to your post, instead of double posting.

You can't load a save you've made without a mod loaded and then continue it with a mod loaded.

If you're a logical person, you would understand that if you can load a save without a mod, yet not be able load the save with a mod, then that save is clearly not for that mod.

Can you start a new game of AEoD, save in another slot, leave, restart (again with the mod) and then load that save?

Yes just tried it but I cant load the other saves :/. Somehow it works now I dont know why^^'

If you have updated either ZDoom or the mod, or both, then it's logical an incompatibility cropped up.

I've had this problem before. Check in what order you load the AEoD files.

I'm having this same problem. I'm using cosmetic doom and a few files I have the game autoload, Hd textures, better sounds, etc. I load the mods the same way every time but now, it won't let me load my game
