I was looking for a mod like this, and the only link I could find has died so I decided to make one myself.
I'm very new to scripting and had to spend few hours of study to make this simple script. Please understand its limitation.

As you see, it's a very straight forward addon, and should have no compatibility issue with any other mod.
Spoiler:
Default key is "n", you can customize it in the menu.

Reference mods:

1. http://**LINK_DISABLED**/sn9LL - Doomguy visor mod
2. http://**LINK_DISABLED**/sfclq - Brutal DooM (Nuff said)

Seriously dude, what's the meaning of this?
Not sure if I broke any rule in this community or simply getting face rolled.

If you have any problem, please PM me rather than replying to the post like this.

Yeah, I don't understand it, either. Par9000, do you have a problem? I'd appreciate it if you'd just say it, instead of being ambiguous about it...

Hmmm just read the guideline, it says post will be banned if there's no screenshot. Maybe that.

The guidelines also make something of an exception for if your project has a download link.

This sounds like an alright idea, I am personally sick of getting stuck in dark areas in a few wads and a bit too lazy to turn on Light Amplification goggles, this would be handy for me.

EDIT: All it needs now is a toggle sound.

And odd request, but if a toggle sound does get implemented could it be the ones from Half Life Opposing Force? I always really liked those and they came to memory the instant I read that.

When I tried to download it just now, it asked me to register, but it still downloaded the file in the background without me having to fill anything out.

It's Brutal Doom. I think that by playing with BD he wanted to show it works well with all mods. But I'm pretty sure there will be at least one that will break this. :)
