These look okay, but there seems to be some sort of clash between the old switch assets and the new metal backgroundBlue Shadow wrote:I'm sure these must've been done before at some point by someone, but hey...

Someone please tell me how this is looking.
Re: Custom Texture Thread.
I think those lighter pixels on the edges of the two circles that comprise the UAC logo are going to be really glaring when you see the texture in-level. That, and the "3" and the "UAC" are kind of hard to read due to the similarity in tone (is that the right word?) of the green & brown used.agaures wrote:Someone please tell me how this is looking.

Re: Custom Texture Thread.
The texture on the outer frame is very obvious-Photoshop-Satin-filter and looks soft and lumpy, not like metal. The shadowing is too dark and also rather big and blurry, which is implying a huge distance in between the frame and the inner wood.
Also, never dither when palettizing. Note that none of Doom's resources are dithered, aside from a few fullscreen interface graphics.

Re: Custom Texture Thread.
Are you talking about the Too-Clean frames?
Because as much as this is an excuse, I really just decided to post it because I think it looks neat. (If rather silly.)
Edit:

Either way.
