Looking awesome so far, but when you get around to making the AR replacement, could you take the hand off the magazine? I do believe "Stern"-style subguns aren't meant to be held by their magazinees like that.

as I said before Im very keen on choices/options so I can easily include the original brutal doom holding position or even a vertical grip, I just really liked the holding the mag, as stupid as it is because it looks badass in infinite.
I just got two quick questions, Im looking at doing a big-ass revolver to replace the pistol mutator but obviously they dont hold anywhere near the rounds a pistol does but if people aren't too concerned Id aim for that, I could even do a pistol too.
my second question is does anyone have brutal doom hand sheet? that would really help.

To be honest, while it looks odd to me, I wouldn't really care if you decided to keep the grip how it was.
As far as your questions are concerned:
1.) A revolver would be awesome (and, at least as far as my opinion is concerned) a better alternative to a standard pistol.
2.) It would probably be best if you PM'd Sarge about it.

A revolver would be wicked awesome, I love revolvers.
I patched up a revolver for myself to use with Brutal Doom - altfire shoots a bullet that ricochets from enemy to enemy a couple of times, but takes longer to fire and is less accurate. It's a pretty good fit for Brutal Doom even if it strains the suspension of disbelief a tad.
The sprites are side view instead of front-view however, but I can PM it to you if you want to take a look at it.
As for hand sprites, you can make any regular Doom hand look like it has black gloves if you grayscale and reduce brightness until they're the same color, then erase the arms from the sprite and paste the new gloves over the original image. Takes just a few seconds.

also guys here's some progress on the pistol (the revolver will come later) while im still animating the other stuff:

Sort of based on the usp , thought a desert eagle / automag type thing would be a bit too much:

Here is a list of things that need to be done and the order im generally going to do them in:
- Shotgun: needs to be finished
- Assault Rifle: needs to be finished
- Pistol: needs to be finished
- Sawed off: needs to be started
- Chaingun: needs to be started
- Rocket Launcher: needs to be started
- Machete and Knife: Needs to be started
- Plasma Rifle: needs to be started
- Revolver: Needs to be started

In your to-do list you haven't mentioned the BFG. Are there plans for that? A BFG in the same style as the pistol and assault rifle would be incredibly awesome.
