better pallate, better cleaning can make this more beautiful.
also blox's monster can be awesome ghoul.

Player for my upcoming project. You can clearly see he is taller than normal player. That's why I'm making a game, where all monsters, items etc, look more real sized (without hi-res, cuz I want to keep that old Doom pixel style!). The size of a normal sized door compared to a monster or player just looks dumb. View height is higher in-game, etc. I know the sprite looks little blurry. But this .wad is supposed to be played using texture filtering hq2x or more, then all the sprites and textures fit and look good. Any opinions?

wow! are these from scratch? will they have full rotations? keep up the good work!

Ick -- don't shoot for this, I say. Such filters never look good on Doom-scale sprites, and the sprite you posted actually looks pretty good anyway in terms of clarity. No sense in hiding those nice, crisp pixels.

Yes from scratch, used the doom player sprite just to get the height appropritate.
And to inform all who liked my player sprite. Yes there will be full rotations and full sheet! The current pose is now without weapons so I can easily add him a weapon of choice.

It does look cool and all but there is one thing that bothers me. The shape and highlighting on the knee pads, crotch protector, boots and maybe the chest makes them look a bit bubble-like. Kind of reminds me of...

Perhaps if the highlighting wasn't quite so bright/contrasted.

I think it's fighting pose (well, it's not standart standing pose) and this is the reason that the shoulders supposedly more - in fact, it is the head tilted forward

okay, but he should running if he is going to attacking a target rather then standing or fast-walking.
also, this sprite's only one madicine is waiting.
so, i'm going to wait more and see the result.
