Will try to keep that on hand, but that issue in particular was for a font that didn't work in ZDoom either.

How do I run the SD1 in Ecwolf? When I play SOD files it just plays one of the mission packs...

ECWolf should have a "IWAD selector-like" interface for selecting your supported wolf3d games if you put all .SD* and .SOD files with the directory of ECWolf, it will detecting them on there by default and shows the interface...

It says:
2. Spear of Destiny (*.SOD) but I want it to say (*.SD1)
For some reason it loads ultimate mission with *.SOD

The SODs are main data, the SD1s only MAPHEAD.SD1 and GAMEMAPS.SD1, and they were in first place(but the console didn't listed them for some reasons).

Code: Select all

W_Init: Init WADfiles.
 adding ecwolf.pk3, 58 lumps
 adding ./AUDIOT.SOD, 267 lumps
 adding ./GAMEMAPS.SOD, 42 lumps
 adding ./VGAGRAPH.SOD, 169 lumps
 adding ./VSWAP.SOD, 595 lumps
InitGame: Setting up the game...
VL_ReadPalette: Setting up the Palette...
ClassDef: Loading actor definitions.
S_Init: Reading SNDINFO defintions.
US_Startup: Starting the User Manager.
CreateMenus: Preparing the menu system...
DemoLoop: Starting the game loop...
Mission packs SD2 and SD3 still using the same SOD files.
(But the SOD files listed twice when play SD2/SD3...with ECWolf 1.1)

Code: Select all

W_Init: Init WADfiles.
 adding ecwolf.pk3, 58 lumps
 adding ./AUDIOT.SOD, 267 lumps

 adding ./VGAGRAPH.SOD, 169 lumps
 adding ./VSWAP.SOD, 595 lumps
 adding ./GAMEMAPS.SD2, 42 lumps
 adding ./VSWAP.SD2, 595 lumps
InitGame: Setting up the game...
VL_ReadPalette: Setting up the Palette...
ClassDef: Loading actor definitions.
S_Init: Reading SNDINFO defintions.
US_Startup: Starting the User Manager.
CreateMenus: Preparing the menu system...

I was remembered when I first launch ECWolf 1.0 with SoD option and it loaded Ultimate Mission(SD3) too, it seems works fine at 1.1.

It doesn't seem to load the *.SD1 files, that's why I'm having problems.

Did you use the Spear launcher (from Steam, not ECWolf) before? Because it works by renaming files. Spear.exe itself will only work with SOD files, not SD1/SD2/SD3. So if you played SD2 once, then the SOD files are your SD2 files. Run M1-SOD.EXE to select Spear of Destiny, and now ECWolf will work as expected.

Thanks! It worked.

Looks like it isn't, my copy is retail version, not Steam one and it works fine with ECWolf at all.

I've updated the known issues in the release notes to be a little more clear that the renaming applies to the retail as well as the Steam release. (Not sure why I wrote it specific to steam since I own the super CD personally.)

I'll look into why Spear of Destiny is loading twice with the mission packs (although it's technically harmless).
