Do you say this because of my pointless post? If so then I apologize. Sometimes I just can't help but act stupid. That, and I wanted to make up a [censored word] excuse to subscribe to this thread. I really enjoyed KDiZD.Blue Shadow wrote:@mods: Why don't you just lock it. If Vader or someone else involved in the development of the project would like to post updates, they can contact a mod to unlock it for them. Simple as that.

Oh yeah, its -such- a sin to show interest in such a big mod.Blue Shadow wrote:@mods: Why don't you just lock it. If Vader or someone else involved in the development of the project would like to post updates, they can contact a mod to unlock it for them. Simple as that.
I mean, come on. This isn't a super active community with thousands of topics a day. Bumping for a project that is still ongoing and is among the few that are really big to take so long... I mean, sometimes it feels like its a sin to even mention an ungoing project. Its just some interest, and if people want to say something, let them. Its not like the project is dead. Right?

Re: [WIP] The Shores of Zdoom
I don't have a problem with showing interest, but bumping the thread after five months of inactivity just to ask if there have been any updates seems quite pointless - if there were any (public) updates, they would have likely posted about them in the thread, wouldn't you think?

Re: [WIP] The Shores of Zdoom
Hmm, with that kind of bump i don't think they mean to ask such obvious thing, i think they mean with theyr bumps is to "tell" in some ways to those who are making the project to post something, a screenshot, or any "news" of the project.

Re: [WIP] The Shores of Zdoom
Can't they show anything? Sounds like the last time they said anything they pretty much had the mod laid out. Maybe wrong, but still, they've probably done quite a bit since then.

Of course they can. The real question is: will they?

i think with the disaster hype that KDiZD has, they're going the underground route with this one now, so as to not have a KDiZD 2.0 moment to happen.

I hope a shitfest will happen here just so wildweasel gets forced to lock this thread only until the TSoZD management itself requests unlocking.

...there's always that small chance that TSoZD may end up in Mordeath status (I.E: It will come out in 3-9 years).
Personally, I'm fiending for TSoZD and Back to Project Saturn X.
Eagerly awating.

KDIZD is an amazing mod though, I dont get why people dont like it. Ok maybe a few levels drag a little (Im looking at you E1m3) but in general its a fantastic piece of doomy glory!Viscra Maelstrom wrote:i think with the disaster hype that KDiZD has, they're going the underground route with this one now, so as to not have a KDiZD 2.0 moment to happen.

THIS. I mean, not the shitfest, but locking the thread would be much welcome.printz wrote:I hope a shitfest will happen here just so wildweasel gets forced to lock this thread only until the TSoZD management itself requests unlocking.
