[WIP] Double your fun, double your gun powerup

As the title says. "Double your fun, double your gun !" (Serious Sam quote)
But if im correct, the game BLOOD had this feature too.

Its actually on pause, but i like it to show alittle.
I was working on this a year or 2 ago, and the project got into long pause, but i like to continue this again.
Most of the weapons shown below needs alittle more angled to the middle, so before anyone starts to speak up, :) i know that.
Working on that, alright? :)

Because there are too many dumbasses on the forum who think it's clever to do stupid things like this:

Wasn't it Double your gun, double your fun (in stead of the other way around, like you said)?
Sorry just nitpicking xD

Looks pretty cool, but isn't it going to be horribly overpowered? How are you approaching this?

No how. Being overpowered is not an issue.

Although, I believe, you'll have to watch your ammo meter.

Being overpowered is an issue because it makes the game ridiculously easy (vanilla already being easy as it is). Too easy game/mod = boring game/mod. Boring game/mod = short lasting appeal.

The powerup is set to 30 seconds, just like in the Blood game.
In that given time the weapons may be overpowered.
The Unlimted Ammo is also set to 30 seconds...
Im still working on the weapons graphics to pitch them More to the middle.
Its was 2 years ago when i made them, i wasn't that good in pixel art, and im still not good today.

What i want to do in the future is to double the weapons of heretic too, Strife, Maybe Duke Nukem 3D, maybe Blood's, etc....
For now, i keep it stick to the Doom weapons.
As soon as it works, and it already works sofar, i'll go forth to the other game's weaponry.


And how the quote was said by Serious Sam, i can't really remember, whether it was "Double your gun, double your fun" or the other way.....? :)

I think JoeyTD made some angled Doom weapons that you would find very useful.

Because there are mods that make the game very easy and are still fun (I.E Russian Overkill on everything but max difficulties)

No problem, Djiel. :D Actually it was my fault, i forgot to say the powerup had a 30 seconds duration. So the apologies are all mine.

I remember this concept first in Blood but don't know if any other games had it or not. Typically it's just used for Pistols or any small arms. I've seen such in Rise of The Triad for example.

This would be a great mod to pair with and that is if someone could make a proper faithful HUD sprite of the Plasma Rifle from Terminator 2 since that's also seen to be dual-wielded.
